Here at beautifulhomes.asianpaints.com, we believe if you have a keen eye for quality and design, there’ll always be something you can find to add to your collection at home regardless of the price range.
Asian Paints has built its reputation as India’s largest paint conglomerate by redefining the products and services it provides to create a beautiful home. Asian Paints noticed the diversity of India and it’s consumers, and the need for creating a range of products that are accessible and affordable to all, while retaining a high mark of quality. With its latest brand of furnishings, AP Fabrics, Asian Paints has created a range of furnishings called Ador, which includes a mix of upholsteries and draperies.
Ador by AP Fabrics
Comprising 25 collections of fabrics ranging from sheers, jacquards, embroideries and prints—which are designed to be affordable and accessible to every consumer—the Ador range in AP Fabrics is also extremely high in quality with a high Martindale rating, proving to be long lasting. The diverse range of fabrics can be used individually or mixed and matched together for your draperies, binds, and upholstering your furniture.
What is the Martindale rating and why is it important for your
furnishings?
As a unit for quantifying the abrasion resistance of textiles, especially when used for upholstery, The Martindale method, also known as the Martindale rub test, simulates natural wear of a seat cover, where a textile sample is rubbed against a standard abrasive surface with a specified force. The higher the value, the more resistant the material is to abrasion. While the average Martindale for fabrics for private use should be around 10,000, the Ador range of furnishings can go up to 100,000!
