Royal Jaipur Gemini is the Asian Paints Wallpaper of The Year 2021

Every year, Asian Paints announces the Colour of the Year, four Colour Trends and the Wallpaper of the Year in the first quarter of the year. But this year, when the whole world is facing a changed reality, such announcements have a new significance. 2020 changed people’s relationships with their homes like no other year before it. It was the year when, without warning, homes became multipurpose, multi-personality entities, space that have to do quadruple duty as schools, workplaces, self-care zones and entertainment areas. As we spend more time at home and face up to 2021 with a sense of optimism and better preparedness for this new reality, changes must come in our spaces too. Comfort and elegance must meet, both practical requirements and aesthetics have to be considered, and we have to rejuvenate our homes. The months of research and discussions have pointed to the fact that many of have learned the value of the present, the need to cherish our immediate surroundings and relationships. Never must we take it for granted again.
 

Inspired by this sentiment, Asian Paints chose ‘Jaipur Gemini’ as the Wallpaper of the Year 2021, a design that is both stately and timeless.
